Two questions about Olwen and Brave Ike.

Hi everyone ! I would like to get a few advices on two matters.

First : is -Atk/+Res Olwen salvagable ? 23 Atk is pretty underwhelming, she's not even good as skill fodder.

Second : Is -Atk/+Spd Brave Ike worth it or should I feed him to Fae (she's my last dragon who has not steady breath yet, excluding my full support Ninian) I find it funny that on the three Brave Ike's I've gotten, two of them were -Atk.

Olwen isn't really worthwhile at all, even with good IVs. If you aren't running her brother, you should run Bladetome Ursula.

That B!Ike isn't going to do anything for you. Fodder.

Olwen is actually a really powerful bladetome unit. She might even be better than Reinhardt in a horse emblem team.

For advice, Since she is a -atk olwen, I would give her life and death, +3 atk seal, desp, repo, glimmer and a C skill to help horses depending on your team.

PS. She is definitely a good unit and definitely usable just don’t expect her to be top tier!

1. Yes, she can be salvagable but you need to change that Dire Thunder and give her a Blade tome instead. If you buff the hell out of her(Hone+Fortity Cavalry at least, that's 30 damage right there, the +6 attack from Hone and +24 from all buffs) she'll be fine. Consider skills like Swift Sparrow as well. Darting Blow can work as well in case you need a budget option.

2. Since you said you've gotten three Brave Ikes I'm guessing you already have one you can use. In that case I'd just use him as skill fodder. However if it's the only BIke you have right now(idk, maybe you just used the other two BIkes as fodder) I'd say build him and if you get one with better IVs in the future then use the -atk as fodder.

Swift Sparrow and other "during combat" buffs don't actually increase Blade tome damage. But it's still a good skill to have on her with a Blade tome build.

You could give Olwen Blarblade+, since her Speed is decent without Dire Thunder equipped, and with +Res she can use Ploy skills really well. She's still usable, and you can use her as an offense/support hybrid instead of pure offense.

As for that Brave Ike, I definitely recommend feeding him to Fae. Steady Breath is just too valuable to justify keeping him with bad IVs.

The -Atk bane notwithstanding, she would need a lot of work. Fortunately, class buffs amp up her attack (more so if you run bladetome), and if you run Desperation along with her default Dire Thunder, a quad attack build is certainly plausible. Insert Iceberg/Glacies to put more oomph.
