Two effies and one Abel

I have one 5 star Effie with +def -HP. These are her stats:
47 HP
55 Attack (Silver Lance+)
36 Def
22 Spd
23 Res
Smite, Ignis, Death Blow, Wary Fighter and Hone armor.

Recently I summoned both 4Star Abel (Neutral) and effie (+Attack -Spd). I've thought in Use this effie, with brave lance+ and merge both effies, but I'm not sure which effie can be better. The first has less hp and attack, but better def. The second is the opposite. These are the stats in lvl40

51 Attack (Brave Lance+. The another Effie would have 48 attack. Both with Death Blow)
33 Def
19 spd
23 res

Should I upgrade this Effie?

Best IV for Effie hands down. +Atk -Spd capitalizes on her skyhigh atk and bottom speed taken care of by wary fighter. If you need her and want to play her, upgrade her and merge your previous into this one

Go +Atk all the way: even as a tank she has enough bulk especially with Wary Fighter, and capitalizing on her best stat to deal more damage will be beneficial regardless of what build you run on her.
