Tweaks for both Chrom builds?

I have a defensive build and an offensive build with the -hp +spd iv to maximize his bst and patch his speed. I would like to know if any improvements are needed. I also plan on giving him spd smoke 3 from fallen takumi once I have enough feathers to do so. (He’s going to be +10 sooner or later, I have 3 spare chroms to feed right now.)

Here is the defensive build:

I recommend Panic Ploy in C slot. Dragon+armor emblem run rampant in high level arena so it can be much more useful than Spd Smoke when your enemies are literally getting +6 to all stats.

Chrom has the highest HP of all Falchion users so it's worth taking advantage of (also consider Ardent Sacrifice or Reciprocal Aid). IMO -def +spd (this is the one I use) is better for this purpose, but -hp +spd is the 2nd best BST-wise and should be enough to pull it off if you have Summoner Support.

He looks great! I'm currently building Chrom too, mine is at +5.

I've found guard in slot B for a defensive build to be great, you could consider that and then use the quick riposte seal instead.

My dream build gives him def/spd bond, guard, and the heavy blade seal. I've got male corrin supporting him so he'd be up to 50 speed at +10 and the QR seal could go to someone else.

As mentioned he does have a lot of hp, you could also consider infantry pulse on him if it fits with your team ;)

But all in all guard is amazing on him defensively, makes him basically unkillable to melee units.
