It‘s strange to see these bonus Heroes...man some people like me does not have any of these 40% (/._.)/ another TT for me with 20%. What Team did you use? I use Lucina, Shigure, Nowi and pity breaker Soren xD. Sry for bad english .-.
I don't have the 40% bonus heroes either, but it's only because I am conserving my orbs.
I'm planning on running Lucina and Nowi in my TT team as well! Currently having a crisis as to what green mage to use to counter Robin (funny enough, Soren was one of my options). Fourth slot will vary depending on what green mage I choose.
I did get Tharja and Robin, but I don't like how the latter TTs have been handled, you only get one 40% unit that's not from the new banner or, like in this case, not even that. In fact, all 40% units are limited this time.
It's not that bad because you can always get at least the TT reward for the 20% and auto-battle will eventually get you all the rewards even if you need to spend a few more potions, but I wish they'd be more lenient with the 40% units or give you some way to get the 40% bonus, for example by using 2 or 3 20% units at once.
I honestly don't understand how people do auto-battle to get all the rewards. The AI is so bad that even on the level 30 difficulty I had merged, bulky units dying on the first or second map. It has no problems parking glass cannons right beside a triangle disadvantage enemy, or even sending them to suicide on the player phase. Healers don't heal unless their movement exceeds that of the unit they're healing and even that's usually too much to ask for.
It seems like you have to choose difficulty of no higher than 25 and still manually heal once in a while. At that point you'd probably need like 10 potions and several hours worth of auto-battling daily, which isn't exactly hands-off. Am I missing something where there's an easier way or are people doing 5+ hours/day worth of auto-battling, checking their phone every couple minutes for that entire duration? Granted it's easier than manually battling but I know I'd still lack the time and patience for that matter to do it.
Even with great units, you have to tailor your builds a bit to autopilot your TT. I only use ranged units if they are bonus units and therefore get the big bump in stats. You want to heavily favor distant counter and self healing, whether via Falchion, Renewal, or specials.
I do still find myself checking my phone every 5min or so, but when you're doing something low key like watching TV or a movie casually, it's really no problem
To start out with Winter Lissa(till max hero merit), Linde(blade tome desperation), Performing Azura(Wings to keep Linde going), Red that I still need hero merit on(Athena, Hana). Winter Tharja will take over once Lissa has hit him max merit, and the rest of the team will be heroes I still need merit for(always trying for at least 2 to make it worth doing).
I'm sick of the bonus heroes for Tempest Trials. It's just something else that's shoved in your face.

I'll just have to use the Masked Marth that came from a PREVIOUS TT (Yay, another Masked Marth) for the 20% bonus. Ugh. I know they're a company, but c'mon. Why are there only 4 units for the 40% bonus? Why not include the unit from the TT as a 40% unit? I just don't understand.. Well I do, but I don't. lol
