You know one (actually rather two) of the most retarded things in FEH that have been bugging me since release have been............ Raven and Lucius' Weapon type!
Raven even has a Sword in his Artwork ffs. I mean Brave Axe+ is really good and I really like my newly summoned Raven, but man... I understand that there have been many Sword users (since most lords are sword users) right from the start and Heroes (class) can use axe's, but.... it really bugs me.
But what got me downright infuriated was that Lucius came out as a useless Healer. Like what?
I want my Traps to be mages!
Any comments and additions on raging about FEH are welcome! (I do love the game regardless though <3)
Raven makes sense due to his promotion to Hero at least, but Lucius makes no sense.
From what I understand, Nature mages became green, dark magics were made red, and light mages are blue. By all logical accounts, he should have been a Blue Mage and honestly he'd prolly have been better than Linde, my Lucius capped atk/spd in his game easy before lv 20 promoted.
Raven has a voice line when you click on him in the homescreen and he says that he is liking his new axe or something like that, so I assume he was a sword user on the game series (did not know a lot of FE before heroes).
Something that might bug you also will be when you see Reinhardt (a blue mage in FEH) with a sword on his belt XD
Everything about Raven in this game bothers me. He was one of my favorite characters in FE7, so his subpar art, terrible voice, and off weapon choice bothers me. Yeah, you can argue he can use an axe upon promotion, but it's not his native weapon. I think they were just hurting for axe users on release.
I don't know if it's going to be possible but I think that some kind of event where a lot of units with different weapons may appear in the future to help add variety to the game. Kinda like the seasonal and bridal units but not exactly limited (brave heroes are permanent). I hope that happens since a lot units with promotion can use a lot of weapons, like you said, Raven with a sword and axe.
