Thoughts on using a non prf weapon when it's available

What are some opinions on this?

I know I've seen plenty of Ayras with slaying edge +spd instead of her native prf and i was just pondering replacing YT Olivia's Skuld with something like armorsmasher for a mixed team using tactic skills

I legit never even tried her tome. She's too cute with Candelabra.

In my opinion, it all depends on your strategy... You will always try to use the weapon that works the best. That's why some people use Mulagir on Brave Lyn, but others like to use Brave Bow or Firesweep Bow.

I tend to use non prf weapons on seasonal units because their weapons are usually niche. It's not a bad idea to have the accessible effective weapons in the hands of several units that could help you deal with specific threats and is useful in AA among other things.

In my opinion Prefered weapons are there to give each unit a unique playstyle. Slapping Slaying Lance on every blue unit may be optimal, but it robs certain units of their identity.
