There were other options for Sacred Stones IS!

Seriously, it could of been a Lute, Joshua, L'arachel, Amelia, Marisa, Seth, Valter, Lyon.
IS could of even added new characters from SS like Duessel or Dozla to dress up like Santa Claus or something.

It's not like they had a seasonal alt yet.

But I do agree, nothing would have been better than a santa Dozla.

I agree that they haven't gotten a seasonal yet but I have to ask how is it fair for the units who are not main characters? Most people are gonna vote for main characters in CYL and for the legendary banners it's been shown to only be main characters.
So the seasonal/themed banners are really the only time non main characters have a chance to get an alt.

Well.. they're main characters.
Sure, I do think they've got a lot of alts and really hope this is the final one for a long time.

But I think getting one seasonal alt for a main character should be ok. People seem to hate Eirika for all sorts of reasons (I don't agree with).

Besides, we are getting two characters who aren't main characters with this banner, just not Sacred Stones.

(Btw, chances of Eirika winning CYL3 have just dropped a lot, so don't worry about that)

I just feel like the main protagonists are taking all the spots (mostly fates/awakening) and I have a feeling it's gonna continue next year.

Don't get me wrong I dont mind the twins (SS is one of my favorite FE) but when you just got another form not too long ago and then you get another 2 months later, that's not fair.

I'm pretty happy Fae & Cecilia got an alt they really needed one. About the CYL, I'm aware that Eirika is not gonna get the same votes like last time. (I still remember what happend at that time)

Well what would you expect? The main characters or the most popular ones tend to be the ones that get the most votes, the most pulls, and give IS the most money. May seem unfair for the less loved characters (Dozla being one of them) but looking at this objectively it makes total sense and it'd be kinda bad to look at it in any other way. Cause that's kinda how it is and will stay.

That's just the way it'll stay.

I expect variety
Something that IS shown us they were gonna do when the game launched.
If it seems it makes sense to you then might as well IS take every option of voting for other characters away and keep only the main characters as choices.

Adding Dozla could of made them tons of money (or anybody else who isn't in the game yet), they just have to stop relaying on the obvious choices and make risky decisions.

If IS could make Ayra, who most people didn't even know who she is, sell a random banner then IS can do it again.

Seeing what happend to Palla, Seth needs something to become the monster he was in SS. Amelia could have a lot of different options with how she could promote to different movement classes in SS.
