Is there a way to use Celica and Katarina on the same team?

So I was tired of having my winning streaks in arena ended by cavalry teams, so I was thinking "if you can't beat em, join em." I summoned trying to get Olwen and Eldigan but instead I got Celica, Katarina, and Olwen. Celica is +Res -Def and Katarina is +HP and -Res. I really can't choose one red mage over the other, so I've been using them on the same team for now. Before I spend the SP I've been grinding, I wanted to ask you guys how I should build them so they have separate roles, even though they are nearly identical in most ways

Unfortunately the high blue mage meta makes runnin double red very much detrimental to te intention of deathless arena runs. I personally wouldn't recommend using both at once for abnormal arena team on attack nor defense because getting both killed will be too easy in all honesty unless perhaps you have a really well built fae with lightning breath and triangle adept to deal with the blue mages herself maybe?

If so then you could likely do as you pleased with your reds since res mages slaughter hector and ryouma

Yeah I figured the blue meta would cause a problem. Unfortunately, the only well built greens I have right now are Anna and Hector and I don't have Fae. Honestly, I have a hard time using Hector sometimes because his low movement can be troublesome. Anna can handle blue mages pretty easily but I don't trust her against even lance units because of her terrible Def. If I get a good IV Nino in my next summoning session I was just going to make a mage team

I think you don't do too bad if you just build them identical, considering we have Arena Assault coming in two days.

Ah, I forgot that was being added. It might make double red mage more viable so I'll experiment with that when it's out

In an offense team, you can make 2 red mages work but you'll be needing a strong green and blue unit like julia and camus. A defense team is different though

I think all you need to kill horse emblems is a good green magic tank (titania, Fae, or anything with TA, Gem weapon) and a reliable blue unit to take care of xander/eldigan, so any magic damage, Nowi is good since she can tank as well, but Linde, S!Corrin, Mae, B!Shida or whatever that hits on Res.

Hello Bravart. Yes, I am that guy :P I still want to do it in the future, however the only one I have right now is Sophia (once I inherit Henry's tome, luckily I got him), but still searching for Robin and Boey. I actually do have Titania and I might start using her once I give her Hone Cavalry from Gunter so I can boost my Olwen. My Olwen is +Spd so I gave her Darting Blow and Luna and with the Hone Cavalry buff she should quad nearly everyone she needs to attack

Recently, I found a counter for Cecilia necessary, as well, though that is less of a problem when we are talking Celica and Katarina.

To come back to the main topic, you could build one towards LnD nuking and the other towards Res tanking, whichever has the more suited stats for it, I'd say Celica is the better nuke but I don't know if their IVs screw this up.

This is what I was thinking. I've found Katarina to still be a really good mage tank even with the bane, she can still beat Sanaki if the situation ever occurs. Celica can one round pretty much whoever I need her to in her first battle, and I haven't even given her an A slot skill yet (I do want to give her LaD but I haven't had fodder for it for a long time). I honestly might just sacrifice my Hector to Titania so Reinhardt will never trouble me again, and I have Olwen that needs Hone Cavalry boost anyways. That should make this team comp work
