Theorycrafting 2.0 : Caeda into a S-tier unit

Caeda, the white shadow (白霞罸)

The purpose of this theorycrafting is to leverage Caeda's strenghts, her differences, her quintessence !

First, let's figure out why Palla is considered superior to Caeda!

============Quick comparison+explanation===========

The anwser lies in their stat spread :
STATS : PALLA ----vs---- CAEDA ==> caeda PoV
BST : 158 ----vs---- 156 ==> lighter Arena Weight
HP : 42 ----vs---- 36 ==> very costly for a speedy unit
ATK : 31 ----vs---- 25 ==> can't ORKO most of the meta
SPD : 31 ----vs---- 37 ==> toptier spd, above the meta average
DEF : 28 ----vs---- 24 ==> weaker to lords and braveswords
RES : 26 ----vs---- 34 ==> interesting... let's save it for later

So the answer is 1) Palla has a better Arena Weight, 2) her all-rounded stats are more suited for a very buffy flier team (as she can increase all her stats by 10, making use of each of her stats), and 3) her Atk is good enough to not rely on TA or Gem-weapons to take out her foes, same for her ability to soak hits.

In brief, she looks in all aspect better and more optimal than Caeda... HOWEVER, it's up to oneself to be what the person he wants to be !

Let's see how Caeda can build her way to new heights ! Sora ni mukoe... PLUS ULTRAAAAAAA !!!

=================Theory Crafting 2.0===============

Caeda, the white shadow (白霞罸)
IVs : +atk, -def
W: Slaying Edge (aka the White Edge, 白剣 shiroken)
Ast: Ardent Sacrifice
Sp: Iceberg (aka Frost Bite, 凍傷 tôshô)
A-skill : Fury 3
B-skill : Desperation 3
C-skill : Def Ploy 3
Seal : +1spd

Stats (unbuffed) : 36hp / 46atk / 41spd / 24def / 37res

Spoiler : This build of Caeda is effective even OUTSIDE of a Flyer team, to say how viable it is.
But let's speak of the flyer team synergy/massbuffs later..

=============Outside a Flyer emblem==============

Caeda can effectively tank any red or green physical hit and will NEVER get doubled (41spd), so she cannot get ORKO except against Braveweapon users (generally you can't counter both 1-hit nuke and brave-W nukers).

Caeda can soak any red or green magic hits, multiple times, thanks to her AMAZING 37res, and even some Blue mages (as long as it's not a bladetome or a dire thunder, so good versus the IA, TT, CC but not the blue mage meta will remain too strong for a red unit).

What about her offensive potential now ?!
She has 46atk and 41spd, but more importantly, she has -1 CD special which adds 18damages when it triggers !!

As we saw, only blue units (natural counter) and bravesword users can ORKO her. The latter are very rare, meaning she will survive a fight almost all the time.

What does it change ?
1) Her special is now ready to blow 18damages with her next attack
2) Desperation is ready, she can double hit (41spd)

Another alternative: her Ardent Sacrifice. She has 36Hp and she reaches Desperation's range at 27hp, so by transfering 10hp to an ally, she gets in Desp'range.

At this stage, she is able to ORKO :
- ALL the green units
- ALL the blue mage meta (with their ridiculous Def)
- all the red units except a few if they run Fury 3:
Ryoma (survive with 2hp before Fury recoil), Lucina (2hp too), Marth (4hp), Eldigan (4hp), Xander (9hp), Zephiel (11hp but he does run fury3 so... 5hp)..

They ALL die if they are alined with Caeda at the start of her turn, thanks to Def Ploy -5def... How evil... fear the white shadow, Caeda...!

===============Inside a Flyer emblem==============

In a Flyer emblem she will have to trade her awesome Res Ploy 3 for a Flyer buffing C-skill. But will benefit from a massiv amount of buffs.

Since I hate horse/flyer emblems and everything that is OP I won't enter too much into the détails but to make it simple :

All her weaknesses you read before (braveweapons, bladetomes, etc) she can overcome the vast majority of it really easily and kill even more foes (even without her special). Basically, it's the SS-tier.

Her only remaining weakness will be bravebow Archers (not even Merric).
