Tharjas and Sanakis personal tomes effects, better or worse then Owls?

So obviously the personal weapons are better then the owls with the extra stat boosts, but I’m more curious on what people think of the other effect. You gain extra range for the effect, but it is cut in half. What do people think, is it better then an owl, or worse. I think it’s better for offensive units and worse for defensive ones, probably the common opinion but I’m curious to see what people think of it.

Better due to range, but overall, worse due to only two skills affected and a limit of how far it'll go (owl effects can go up to +8 in Rival Domains).

???? Theyre not inheritable. So i dont get the "worse for defensive ones"

Depending on stats they r slightly better. Owl tomes r good for baiting but they are not very flexible. These allow for baiting and seting up for desp. Theyre realistically a conditional darting blow/stance. So it allows for more flexibility but not outright outclassing owl tomes

We don't know if these tomes will eventually see an inheritable version, like how Mulagir eventually got an inheritable version in the LA!Weapons. besides, you could always try to build the two defensibly if you wanted to.

Owls are definitely superior in pretty much every way? I mean it does literally just half of what an owl does.

You gotta hand it to Sanaki for getting 17mt in her weapon, but other than that, I would have preferred if they kept the range at one and kept the defense buffs (or at least one of them), especially as you will have an adjacent unit at all times anyway due to her having Atk/Res Bond and her other B skill.

If the skill wasnt limited to +6, I would say otherwise, cause holy shit could you reach ridiculous heights in Rival domains with two range. Consider it more like the unit having Drive Atk/Spd in her weapon - just reverse.

On second thought, the bridal weapons last year did Def/Res+5 after attack, so this is probably mirroring that.

Owl tomes are superior in enemy pahse build, but on player phase i prefer new tomes.
1) have +4 mt, and +3 to atk or spd. Sanaki attack power with no allies around is equal of refined owltome with 3 allies.
2) in enemy phase is easier to position against AI, but have 3 allies around you when attacking in player phase is very difficult.
3) when you build unit to be offensive powerhouse you dont realy need to had much defensive stats.

Neither is better/worse, they just for suited for deferent builds/heros.
