Tempest Trial

Hello Everyone,
I wonder how do you do TT normally ?
are you doing it manual on 7 match ?
do you auto it on 7 match ? or do you auto it at lower difficulty ?

I did it manually on 7 match, take me about 5 minutes to clear it, and with 99 stamina, will take me about 40 minutes.
I wonder if autoing it on lower difficulty is actually better, because it's quite tiring after few days doing the same thing over and over again.

I dont go for top scores so usually just do the 2-3 per day for the rewards.

When i used to grind. I auto on hard dificulty. But even on auto it takes too much time and its not worth it imo

I do the highest difficulty in around 5 mins twice a day(with a bonus unit), then call it a day. Getting the max amount of points for those 2 times still gets you all of the best rewards save some orbs.

well it's actually about the feathers.
I believe with 50k points you will fall into the 30k-50k range, maybe in the 50k-100k range.
I tried at least to get into the 10k for 6k feathers.

Feathers would matter more if I actually got the dupes I needed for my merge projects, but since I don't I don't really care too much. I never have feather issues, and even if I did, a couple thousand extra every month doesn't do much, especially considering the time commitment. Also the seals are easily the most important part.

I did that before, and I don't think it's worth the time. It's, like...maybe 2 hours a day plus maybe 4-5 more hours on top, at minimum. By that point I definitely gain 10k+ feathers from hero merit on the team I use to score those points.

I don't believe in mindless repetition (and autobattle is mindless repetition) so I do manual battle, max difficulty. I play three times a day, and that gets me to rank 55 000ish. I'll add about 7-10 more runs to get me securely into the top 50 000 and that's it.

I see.
I tried to get into the 3k-10k range for 6k feathers.
last TT, iirc I had about 110k points and didnt manage to get into 10k.
ranked like 10100ish.

While I'm working on coding at my office job, I grind TT on hard. I could do higher, but I don't want to worry about the stupid auto-battle AI. It's a knee-jerk reaction at this point.

I usually switch around teams to keep it fun
Often with sub optimal members.

And never auto battle. Why play even if you just auto through it?

I do the same thing every TT: play the first Lunatic one with 5 battles, 6 times a day. With a bonus unit, that averages a little over 5,000 points a day. It's just enough to get all the rewards without having to do too much work at once. And there's no way I'm taking the time to grind for rank.

Also, am I the only one who doesn't use Auto for TT, or anything? The AI doesn't seem to understand Danger Areas when I use it.

More like the AI is suicidal or uses support abilities like reposition, swap, etc as often as they can for no reason other than to endlessly loop battles where enemies wait for you to bait them and your units reposition themselves in an endless loop outside of the danger areas.
