Yeah, I literally have him at lvl 40 5* not being used because I don’t want to invest in him. I have so many other sword units who are marginally better. So maybe Michalis will make Joshua worthwhile in death.
Plus, with close def, he can hit 45 defense on enemy phase (and 28 res for dragon fighting), be guaranteed to double, and if he procs heavy blade then his Ignis goes from hitting 41 to hitting 46 damage. He will become tankier and become much more powerful on melee attacking, but bows will become an enemy of his.

I don't have Luna, i haven't summomed Palla in like 8 months(??) and no Odin are available until the Legendary banner, when i plan to use a few orbs.
Windsweep is useless and Close Defense 3 is only on 5*, i can't afford 20000 feathers for one skill that i have no use, i can't think of a unit that can use this.
I never use my 5* Joshua and my Donnel needs more power for the TT, i plan to get max HM with him, because he can't have a better oportunitie than now.
I understand why you are scared, but i have no regrets!!

Fury renewal is what I used to run on him, he was one of my original 5* red sword pulls (after I got Lucina and Lon’qu), but with the weapon refinement you should play him like a brave sword users. Renewal is still good on him though, was a tough call swapping to cancel affinity 3, as he has less consistent recovery, but as I said, CA3 let’s him bypass the weapon triangle and kill ALL dragons.

You killed a 4* Joshua for moonbow? Really?
A skill that literally can be found on Athena, Odin, and Palla at 4*? I thought maybe you’d kill him for windsweep, or maybe promote him to get close def 3. I just cannot agree with killing a limited unit for a fairly common skill accessible at under 5*.
I hate to say it, but killing him just for moonbow is stupid.
