Tell me... am i stupid for doing this??

OK, so I pulled a +Def -Res Saber today out of the Halloween gate. I basically went stacks on him because I needed an efficient tank that wasn't Takumi, because let's face it, he's not a tank, even with +Def -Res IV's (talking about Takumi here not Saber). So here is my new updated build that I messed around with and am now happy with. Good? Bad? Advice? Thanks in advance.

Statline (assuming summoner support): 50/44/35/42/21
Weapon: Slaying Edge+
Support: Swap
Special: Ignis
A: Fortress Def 3
B: Quick Riposte 3
C: Fortify Res 3
Seal: HP+5

Great as a physical tank, but why would you invest so much into a Saber? Also a build like this would appreciated steady stance more than fortress def

idk saber was one of my favorite units in FE: Echoes.
same way as i invested into Lucina instead of other red lords

That's pretty badass, tank-wise...which also translates really well into Killer (well, Slayer, in this case) > Ignis. Durability is just stupid- Lukas-level, pretty much. He's also fast enough to not get doubled a lot.

I personally wouldn't fodder someone for QR3 (especially not Takumeme). But at least he's fully usable in the Arena and the what-not.

mhm. i still think im going to take the suggestion above and put steady stance 3 on him. that gives some atk power back and adds more to his def. this is basically going to be my lucina counterpart. granted pairing 2 reds is kind of dumb but running the numbers there is a ridiculous amount of units he can tank and not much he cant. (also subaki is taking the L and getting foddered for my boi)
