Tell me about your best hero

So like everyone, I have a favorite character in FEH. And I want to hear about your favorite character too. Now, I'm not talking about your favorite character if you never use them, per say. I want to hear about the shipping, his or her rivals, or how they became such a staple in your team. Tell me about that story. For me... that was Robin (M).

I had rolled a silver Robin and seeing as how he was my fav from the only game I've played "Awakening" I leveled him up to 40. Plus, he was one of my only blue mages and was my only counter to Takumi at the time. He was a 2nd rank in the army at this point.
Then the first tempest trials began, and I had just rolled a gold Robin, and seeing as how Silver Robin was so reliable so far, I made him a Gold+1. He was the leader during the tempest and was promoted to right-hand man after the tempest. (Which was overwhelming, and grueling)
Then came the Brave Hero's. Robin was needed more than ever since the only real threat was Brave Ike, and since he could deal with the other 3 easily, Robin was promoted to becoming the one standing on the stairs. (The only one before Robin on the stair was Marth.)
Then came the GHB for Arvis "the fire mage". Arvis became Robin's rival during the Arena Duels, and during that current Tempest trail, they competed for who could get the most kills during those fights.

I got Robin around April 4th to 20th because Robin is in between GHB's of Navarre and Zephiel.

Oh I plan to. I'm about 21,650 feathers away. Tempest Trial and Arena pay out will make up almost 20,000 of that come Monday.

For me, it’s gotta all my armor nerds, I love them; Effie, Zelgius, Halloween Henry, and Winter Lissa are such a reliable team; I love them!

Huh, fun expansion of the normal favorite hero poll. Robin's been a great check throughout the past year to a good number of challenge maps and top meta picks, so right there with you on being glad he was one of my 1st 5-stars. Plus always enjoyed him in Awakening for his nerdy optimism. Having been with the series since Blaxing Sword dropped, it was fun to have Mark and Soren kind of merged together for once.

My favorite unit has become - hopefully not to the annoyance of some for posting about her again - Soleil. Didn't care for Fates all that much, but she was a character that stuck out due to her design and personality. Overly flirtatious, charismatic, a bit snarky, fun dialogue and not the lesst bit a singer or dancer which is sooo ironic given her father and grandmother. I hoped she'd join Heroes at some point, but didn't expect much. Then early December rolls around and she's 1 of the 4 kids in. I was thrilled!

Took me 175 orbs on her banner and I was down to my last summon before I pulled her for the first time, but man it felt good. Immediately leveled her up and began using her with Brave Lucina and Brave Ike on what became the main arena offense team. Soooooo much grinding was needed to inherit her a Wo Dao+ and Slaying Edge+, then refine both for a speed boost, but she can run either now. Outside of Aether, which I just pulled a spare Chrom for, she has most all she needs. Threaten Speed, Drive Res, Desperation, Swordbreaker - all but Life and Death.

She's soloed rounds in the arena, taken out armor teams almost single handedly, triggers her special most every battle and now that I finally supported her with Brave Lucina as those 2 have become the arena duo (also are 2 of my 3 favorites in the series, with Hector on another team), nothing outside of Ayra, Mia (her rivals that I always savor getting the win over juuuuust a bit more) or a dedicated speed build is close to doubling her. Could I build her more dedicated to the offensive stats? Definitely could. But close defense and keeping her pretty competent defensive spread has let her be able to run through more units on maps.

Hoping to eventually +10 her this year, and at some point she'll likely take my summoner support over from Lucina. Since she's come aboard, she's easily become my most potent offensive threat outside of Effies, Robins or Nowis. I just love her happy-go-lucky demeanor, and never expected to really see her in the game, let alone be as good of a unit as she is. She was the best surprise of the first year, and I'm just enjoying finding new ways to keep improving her.

Mine is Joshua. He may not be the best in offense or defence, but he has a special spot on my team. I plan to make him my master debuffer. He and my master buffer, Brave Lucina, are in almost unstoppable force. I haven't fully finished giving him skills, but he will always be useful.

Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well. He was my first 5 star and he is my favorite character and hero in this game, working on making him +10.

Gotta respect those who have the patient to take a hero who can't be pulled at 5 stars outside a banner for them and make a max merge 5 star version of it.

I think without a doubt it would have to be the Metahardt himself.

As much as people hate seeing him on arena teams, it can't be denied he's useful. I tend not to use him on my defense team though. Give people a refreshing break from him.

She may not be my favorite unit on fire emblem, bit in this game she's second to none.
She is my first +10, and ever since the release she is one of the absolute best.

I have a lot of crazy builds that I love, but Lukas is just such a great wall.
