Team Idea: Cheerleading Tactics
I'm a little bored now with no orbs and such, so I'll just do some time to create new team ideas, even with units I don't really intend to build upon maybe sooner.
First idea in my mind is a Tactic team, but going to full potential is only possible when Aversa is available for purchase with Heroic Grails and maybe if Jaffar demotes in the future. This will comprise of a core with Aversa, Titania, and any unit who's good at chip damage, may it be a healer or Jaffar (though Jaffar may take some time). I'll discuss the builds of each:
Aversa - The Debuffer at Night
Aversa's Night
Any movement assist skill
Blue Flame/Aether
R Duel Flying
Renewal/Sweep skill
Savage Blow/Guidance
Any HP seal (preferably HP/Res 2, since it gives the highest score among HP seals)
Aversa's role as a cheerleader will focus on providing Panic and debuffs. R Duel Flying is a very good skill for her as it improves her HP thresholds as well as scoring potential. Aversa with R Duel Flying and HP/Res 2 will give her 52 HP without merges, 53 if you merged her once. This means that she will debuff foes with 49/50 HP or below, which is a common number on most foes (most armored units and some infantry can go above).
B skill is up to choice. If you are afraid that she will take hits, then take Renewal to get the HP back. Otherwise, you can take any Sweep skill and chip some HP off since she won't be doing much outside of debuffing (goes well with Savage Blow C skill), though I prefer Watersweep to target dragons because Jaffar can cover for mages and physical units (via Windsweep and refined Deathly Dagger).
C skill is also up to reference. Savage Blow helps Aversa push enemy HP to a threshold where she can inflict her weapon's effect (again, goes well with Sweep skills). Guidance is another choice of skill if your bonus unit is infantry or armored, as it helps with their mobility.
Titania - The Tactic Queen (+Spd -Def)
Draconic Poleaxe (+Eff)
Rally Up Atk+
Aether/Blue Flame
Distant Counter/Fortress Def/Res
Spd Feint/Chill Spd
Speed Tactic
Defense Tactic Seal
Her role is pretty much obvious: provide buffs for the team. Her axe provides Res Tactic, so her C and seal slot can make use of Speed and Defense Tactic. Add Rally Up Atk+ and she will provide +6 to all her ally's stats.
For scoring, there are two choices at least until G Duel Cavalry becomes a thing: Distant Counter if you want her to chip on ranged units (just hope that you don't kill them), or Fortress Def/Res to just bait them. In my opinion, Fortress Def/Res is her best option as her role is to just provide buffs, and the Atk reduction ensures that she doesn't accidentally kill anything, especially if the foe she baits is blue.
Jaffar - The Silent Chipper (+Spd -HP/Res)
Deathly Dagger (+Eff)
Movement assist skill
Blue Flame/Aether
C Duel Infantry
Windsweep
Savage Blow
Savage Blow/Phantom Spd seal
Another simple and effective build for the team, Jaffar's role is to chip damage and ensure that your bonus units get the kills. Again, C Duel Infantry is for scoring, Windsweep is for covering physical units.
Without merges, Jaffar has 36 speed with a speed boon, which for other players might be unimpressive. With that said, Titania can boost this speed to a more respectable 42 with Spd Tactic. If the player is concerned with this speed stat, then Phantom Spd can be used to patch up the speed problems, though keep in mind that in higher tiers of Arena, most units are armored and tend to be slow, so Phantom Spd might be a waste. In that case, the Savage Blow seal can be used instead for more chip damage.
Thoughts? Reactions? I would love to hear them.

Basically this. Sorry Jaffar fans, he's basically garbage forever now. He got his refine, he's not getting anything else for years at best. Veronica would be much better since she can cavalry buff Titania and is an amazing unit, but really every single healer is better than Jaffar since they can actually take a hit from mages (or both if you're Azama), can double, and target a(n arguably) better defensive stat.

To be fair, he does have the advantage of things like not being restricted from a lot of A skills and being able to run damage specials. Also, his weapon literally does chip *and* debuff (like any other dagger), not sure why you're implying that healers are better for debuffing, you can easily run atk + spd smoke on him for spectrum debuffs, he really only misses out compared to gravity. It is true that healers + dazzling tend to be overwhelming powerful, though...I just feel like calling him garbage is going too far.

A spectrum of debuffs already occurs with aversa, further cementing his uselessness, compounding with the fact that he doesnt need to be doing any killing, he needs to chip, which healers do better.
Anything he would be good at in this situation, a healer does better. This is why my arena core is this setup. +6 to each stat, -7 spd to fastest enemy, restore+ to both recover hp and to undo debuffs, guidance to move units around, and witchy wand to prevent enemies from ever using their specials. The only changes id make to this core setup would be giving tiania and palla dual rally+ skills, and maybe replacing palla with aversa since aversa can debuff instead of just being a maneuvering unit.

Aversa is a fantastic debuffer, no getting around that, but she has -3 to all stats (plus panic) instead of his -7 to all stats, and has two BIG restrictions on that - having more HP (which is particularly bad against armors), and that enemy units are next to each other. With regards to healers, they have the exact same chipping potential, unless you're talking about their dazzling staff access. I would argue him and healers are useful for different reasons -- healers can indeed chip and heal well, and he can chip and spectrum debuff well (and proc specials like Luna or AoE). He may not be useful in your arena comp (obviously it's a strong comp, with +10s and expensive skills), but I really don't think it's fair to call him useless/garbage when he can easily go for a strong chip build and/or smoke build with almost no investment, which is useful in a lot of situations. If he had a somewhat stronger stat spread and wasn't locked to 5*, I think he would actually be a pretty popular unit.
