I like the idea for itself but this is one thing which simply drives me crazy.
I get why they do this, but it's still annoying. Boss fights would be trivial if you could just mash through them and still get an S-Rank. It doesn't change how it's nerve wracking to beat one and find out that you dropped a combo in the fight and not even know since your counter disappears.
Yeah, but this prequel is a bit long, is it? I mean: considering all the guys which attack you there you easily get attacked 150 times on that fight. That's more as the last map which does not contain a boss. And that's on Stage 95, not 40.
Boss Fights should be fully seperated. Narcian on Hard is just as hard as this 120 people freakshow which guards him in the forefield. Why both?
