Takumi

I finally managed to pull my first Takumi, and I'm super happy because he is my favorite character from fates. I'm super sad because he is +HP -Def. I don't know if I should, but should I consider using him for fodder on a unit like Sophia? I only have 3 orbs so trying to yolo summon for another isn't really an option...

Those IVs aren't bad. Yea their not optimal but its not like he has a bane in ATK or SPD. He's still very usable, just play around melee units (which most acrhers should do anyways) and avoid bow duels (cuz of his low DEF). I mean can still fodder him off if you want, but do you really want to sac your rare (and favorite) character off just because his IVs are sub-optimal?

I suppose your right... Maybe I could try building him in a weird way that supports his IVs, like using Close Counter, Vantage, and Vengeance together with summon support and HP +5.

Give him the Close or Distant Def Sacred Seal, Vantage yes, but I'd recommend Luna over Vengeance. Threaten Spd is a skill to keep.
