Swordhardt

I got him earlier today with +Atk boon and I was immediately ecstatic that I gave him distant counter right away since he had a brave sword effect on both phases. He is incredibly dominant right now that I would rate him a 10/10 even if you didn't have Distant Counter. I fitted him in my horse team with brave lyn, Magehardt and Gronnblade Cecilia.

So after a couple days of being available, what is your opinion of him?

Despite how powerful he is with his sword, I gotta say this is the most pointless variant IS has ever made, it's basically just normal Reinhardt but with a sword.

Totally agree. I guess IS made him that way to get more people to buy orbs in the currrent banner. The total amount of people purchasing orbs must've gone down since they also introduced discount sale to entice more people to buy.

My opinion of Master Sword Reinhardt is about the same as Dire Thunder Reinhardt, except one is melee and one is ranged.

It's really not all that interesting in my opinion. They both have the "Brave-" effect which almost trivializes a lot of battles for the simple fact that they can both render enemies completely helpless due to having the ability to attack twice with a legendary weapon.

It's literally, like stated above, Reinhardt, but with a sword instead of a tome.

I guess he's not that interesting since he doesn't offer something new to the game but I think you'd have to agree that this unit is incredibly good on both phases.

The main problem I had with Dire Thunder Reinhardt (when facing him) was that my Donnel couldn't tank him due to him having Lance Breaker 95% of the time.

Now that Reinhardt is a sword user, that pretty much negates any and all problems my Donnel had with him (at least with the new version).

Donnel is a very good physical tank so I think it'd be a given that Reinhardt won't give you that much of a problem.

I like that he is a melee variant of his original character but do wish they mixed up the design a little bit by maybe giving him a change of outfit.

Lol, when i summoned him earlier today I was like I thought I summoned a blue stone since he looked so similar to his blue mage counterpart.
