Sword size matters

I'm not the biggest lore king and google hasn't really helped me, so I'll be asking here. Is there a FE character that would fulfill the typical anime character trope of a guy with an outlandishly huge sword? (like Cloud from FF7 or Guts from Berserk).

Even strong badasses like Ike and Zelgius wield swords that can be considered reasonable. Is there actually anyone who would be a real anime swordsman in FE?

Ashnard, to an extent...and he just wields it with one hand.

Oh right. I actually forgot about him. He probably had the biggest and heaviest weapon in PoR. He would be a good GHB.

Zephiel. His sword may seem semi reasonable, but it could transform into a giant spear.
Just look his gba animations up.
Durandal is also pretty crazy.

Okay, Zephiel's attack animation while transforming his weapon is really hype. Even the sword looks stupidly big (which is awesome) in the game itself from what I saw just now.

Try to use a sword the size of Ragnell with one arm (or even two, that things big) and you would get a dose of reality quickly. Ike has to have the strength of three men to wield it the way he does lol.

Seconding Ashnard from PoR, he’s friggin ridiculous. I really want him in the game, along with every other Tellius character.

I'm not disputing that wielding any larger sword one-handed would be difficult or even near impossible, but the point here is not realism, it's about stupidly large swords like only japanase fiction creators can do.

Ike is a noob in front of Altina, who used both Ragnell and Alondite at the same time and probably she was much more faster than him. She is the real MAN you are looking for

I would say that Elwood welding Durundal in FE7 isn't too far off in this description.
I mean, have you seen him use it in the final chapter? Dude flips, throws, holds, and swings the giant thing with one hand. On a horse.
And that sword looks equivalent to Gut's Dragonslayer

Feels bad. Should have played FE6 and 7 back in the day now that I know this, combined with how Zephiel was a huge badass as well in FE6.
