Support unit whom I can +10

As the title suggests, I want a suppport unit (abiablar through 3-4 summoning pool) who I could +10. A support unit whom I could use on practically any team (this doesn’t have to mean they are top tier) Also, would it benefit me more to max out a nuke, support, or tank?

Marth, Soren and Corrin come to mind.

Marth's Falchion refine + Drives/Dual Spurs helps support the entire team. He's also decent at offense, more so if he ever gets access to Exalted Falchion.

Corrin's Yato refine makes him a good baby sitter for Arena Bonus units and also a solid bruiser too with essentially 0 recoil Fury 2.

Soren's Wind's Brand, Chill Def/Spd and Ploy combo is good for debuffing if you're into that kind of play. He's in my arena core and helps out a lot from the rear (thank you Based G Duel Inft.).

- The same can be said for Lilina but built in Chill Res isn't as valuable unless you plan on using Magic attackers.

Hope this helps.

PS: I have a mix of heavy hitting and fairly tanky +10s so I'd suggest having one of each.

I think I’ll go with Marth, it seems like he is exactly what I’m looking for (a support that’ll fit in with practically any comp) besides, I like Marth. Thanks for the help!

Off topic, but, she's so cute. Though not an optimal support unit. She'll no doubt get a prf staff at some point and I'm hoping it's going to be good to help her.

EDIT: Elise, cover yourself. Also, where are these from?

Every healer is optimal support because they can either buff or do cheap damage. And half of the staves have support effects too. Her mixed defenses are an added bonus

Yeah, I'm considering moving up a friend's Veronica with Close Counter!) into the debut slots of my standard GC brigade given how handy they are. (She'd be the second after my Gravity/Savage Blow Clarine, which sometimes is the only way I have of damaging Lissa or Surtr, or else preventing devastating enemy phase reprisals.)

True, I retract my statement. The initial post put on an offensive unit with support abilities who can kill if needed rather than a full support unit.

A lot depends on what you have in mind for "support" - a specialized healing unit like a staff, a unit that can heal repeatedly via a combination of skills like Falchion/Ardent Sacrifice, a mega-buffer like Eirika or Odin, etc.

My tentative list would be Odin, Marth, Chrom, Olivia, and Fae and/or Nowi. Olivia is the unit that could go on different teams the easiest: cavalry and armor don't have dancers, and flying units can support her or her allies' attack and assist reach both actively and passively via assist and Guidance skills. A duel skill is also available for her in the general pool, should you want to take her into arena.

With how fliers alone can support other units with their B/C skills and movement least punished by map randomization, a flier is probably the best option for a general unit after a dancer, you could maybe use Florina for that purpose.

I love the renewal effect on the Falchion (I never opt for the Sealed Falchion), the Falchion units are some of the most fun to play in the game I think.

To explain the dragons, they have some versatile options between Water Breath, Lightning Breath, and Dark Breath. One set I like is 50 HP/Breath of Choice/Ardent Sacrifice/Brazen Skill - you can pair Water Breath with Brazen Def/Res and Guard and have a very tanky unit after 1 Ardent Sacrifice from full HP that can make a team's HP recursive with the help of Aether.

Tiki A gets Renewal on her PRF breath, so she can perform a wide array of shenanigans.
