Superboon Stats

Is there any logic behind what stat is a superboon? I just feel like IS recently has Vector and GRobin with superboon attacks knowing these are the money making units and to further emphasise the importance of IVs to people. I used to think that they'd superboon the stat that was below average for the unit but not it seems they'll do it to above average stats too. Any thoughts?

Never really thought much about them, usually just rolled with it. Side note: I find it interesting that Fjorm has freaking THREE superbanes in hp, atk and def.

I believe there are 2 reasons for super boons.

1. To solidify a units place in the meta as that super boon defines that units placing in terms of Atk, Def, Spd etc.

2. If you think about it the IV system makes the gacha system more interesting and inadvertently frustrating at the same time. All just to meet IS earning quota. As super boons would be well compared to "whale bait". As people to summon more and more even though they already have the unit, just so they have the "Perfect IVs" While super banes would spur someone to summon for a similar unit without unsavory superbanes.

Pretty sure it just has to do with the number their neutral stat is. For example, I think a unit with 25 speed will always have a super boon in speed and go up to 29. I might be wrong so feel free to double check, but I think if it is true the same goes for banes.

Simply put, it's just maths.

A character's level 40 stats are determined by their growths rates combined with their base stats. Growths rate is basically how many stats a unit stands to gain per level and usually are or have decimal points like 0.4 or 0.6, which when added up to level 40 usually causes the unit's final stat to also contain decimal places which are then rounded off to get a whole value.

A character's IVs then change said unit's base stats and growth rates, which under certain conditions causes the rounding to create superboons and superbanes.

I'm not 100% sure on exactly how they programmed the system, but I'm fairly certain this is how stats and IVs work. There should be a few sites that explain it better than me if you like doing a little Googling.
