Summon or not? (again...)

I asked yesterday whether I should save up orbs for the Halloween banner to get Jakob or I should summon on the banners I want. Some of you said I should save 50-100 orbs for him, and one person said I don't NEED Jakob. But the thing is I WANT Jakob. He is pretty good and I want to replace Hardin with him. But then the roadmap came out earlier and there are a lot of new summoning events, like one every week. I know I will be REALLY tempted to summon at least, let's see, ALL OF THEM. But it's a tough choice. Two new banners with units added to the pool, a legendary hero which tempts me that most and possibly the new Halloween banner, which is another tough decision. And on top of all of that, probably last year's Performing Arts banner. I already skipped the latest banner, my head is spinning and I need someone to help me. What should I do? Because I don't want to miss out on amazing banners.

If I were you, I would try my hardest to save for Jakob. All the units from the new banners will come back in future legendary banners in a few month time, including the new Legendary hero. There will be plenty of chances to get them throughout the year (and thats ithout considering they will be on the permanent pool, so they can show up as pitty breakers in random banners).

On the other hand, Jakob and PA units have already appeared on those and we dont know if old seasonals will make a return on them. Your only chance at getting them is their rerun banners. Missing that could mean a year long wait for another oportunity.

My plan is for the New Heroes banners summon the free circle and move on, otherwise just take the free pull and walk away. Until the next Hero fest or a Banner I really want to splurge on shows up (though I'll might pull until I get a 5* on the L!Banners). I did pretty good on the geneology banner (pulled a Zelgius and Sonya with 29 orbs, my first of each), so it's really hard to resisting the temptation to pull on it again.

In fewer words - save as best you can.

First thing I would say is wait and see what comes out. We all agree that you don't need to make any decisions before then.

Once we start seeing the actual banners, look at GamePress estimates of orb costs and determine whether you would have enough left for H.Jakob if you pulled on these new heroes banners. If you're not sure, I can look at the numbers with you when the banners arrive.
