Summer Linde: Attack or Support?

I manage to pull Linde with +Res -HP and don't know if she should go offensive with Barb Shuriken or supportive with Smoke Dagger.

Barb: Her offenses are good even without a boon in either but I'm not sure they're good enough. Brave Lyn also outshines her as mounted colourless offense.

Smoke: Mobility and debuffs work well, Gunnthra would love her while Linde would love the HP/Res boost from a Wind Blessing giving her 76 magical bulk.

She'd have Hone Cavalry either way and would likely be receiving it as well. Any opinions on what role she can best serve?

Go with Support. she does'nt have the greatest of atk/spd stat and she will do well with Smoke dagger since she(obviously) has cavalry movement which makes debuffing easier.

Though you could still go for Offensive since neither of her atk/spd stat are touched and since she has access to horse emblem buffs she can do well offensively.

But I recommend to go with support.

"Doesn't have the greatest of atk/spd stat"

Summer Linde has 34/35 offensive spread with access to cavalry buffs. That's actually an incredible offensive potential for a ranged cavalry unit (let alone a dagger).

Her offensive stats are equal with Brave Lyn but she has a higher might weapon with +3 speed and Swift Sparrow which I can't give to Linde making her the optimal colourless attacker of the two. I am thinking of giving her the Barbed Shuriken and counting on it's Def/Res debuffing.

I don't know really, I don't have the feathers to give her both daggers and I'm on the fence.

I mean, both routes are valid. Even keeping her desperation dagger can have some merit to it, since you are free to choose a good B slot - a breaker to secure a weaker matchup that your team has, escape route to synergize with inbuilt desperation, chills for more debuffs and so on..hell, even vantage is dangerous since she would be in brazen atk/res range + possibly hone buffed.

If I had to choose, I would actually keep her native dagger (as boring as that might sound).

Also, the comparison with Brave Lyn is kind of unfair, but I get that it can't be avoided, so I understand that you want to make Linde into something that will justify using her over Lyn.

I was leaning the support direction and she can still be a good attacker with Smoke Dagger and cavalry buffs, she'll just miss out on the reduced cooldown. Ally support with Gunnthra for that extra bit of hurt.
