Summer Banner time?

I realized now after the days remaining started getting listed for each banner and I noticed that the Summer banner is a full month long. This is twice as long as the previous 2 'special theme' banners and unlike those banners, there isn't any singularly amazing units in this one comparatively (Spring Camilla, Bridal Cordelia, Lyn, and even Caeda is pretty decent) so why does this one last so much longer? Is it just because of the theme of being mid-summer and such?

Probably because they all know that this is the money maker. So many people have changed from F2P just for this in the first few days of the banner going live, and keeping it live for a whole month means they can make a pretty big profit off of this one banner

so its just because of the fan service then?

The only reason i see this banner being longer is that the season/event is extended as opposed to Easter, which is one day and left for the next year. As opposed to summer which is a whole 2-3 months so it makes sense to keep it for more than a few weeks. Same might happen with Christmas banner but that depends on when they release that banner.
