Suggestions for my Celica? Please help

So I just pulled Celica (yay) but her IVs are +res -spd (not yay) which puts her speed at 30 MAX for me. My question: Is my Celica still salvageable or should I inherit off her distance def? Thanks for the feedback!

I think it's probably the worse Celica, but she remains a very good unit anyways.

If one of your unit need Distant Def, go ahead, it will be the minimal loss.

same Celica here from free summoning in previous banner. I decided to use her. will give her LnD2 so she sits at 50 atk and 34 speed. at 100% another +5 from ragnarök makes it 55 atk and 39 speed. Will run her in a team with hone speed (+4 = 43 at 100% 39 later on) and threaten Speed. I thinks that's good enough. in the wiki ranking she is the only s-tier red mage left since last update so I think she's worth it. Even more as bonus unit during TT but wanted her so I will use her anyway

@ Dunras She is the S-tier red mage indeed. Why ? Because she works well by her own, contrary to Katarina and Tharja relying on buffs, and Sanaki being very dependant on the team composition too.

However, with those IVs (the worst) she doesn't work even close as well as she normally does.

That's a lot of effort you'll dedicate to salvage your Celica but well, you got her for free, Lucky basty bast

for free is relative xD spend around 80 orbs on her banner when she was released without any 5* and another round when she was in the next banner..
well she ain't bad with those stats. I mean 50/34 solo is still remarkable. and also nice to finally have a new setting and strategy for a mage. #bladetomesrockbutareboring ^^

I also have celica who's also -Spd, but +ATK which is a bit more redeemable. What you could do is maybe give her L&D or Darting blow than with her tome she reaches the 40ish mark at full health (I slapped on threat speed and renewal on her). Maybe have her stick around the tempest trial, since she gets 4+ everything and 10+ HP when you use her. Though, there are other mages that nuke just as well she could, so it depends on how much want to use her.

I'd use Death Blow 3 to maximize her damagw output and Sworsbreaker to finish off a rare Res buffed Ryoma or Ike
