Suggestions for a budget Soren build? (like, REALLY budget)

So, Soren. I recently pulled him for the first time, 4* +atk -def. Seems like a decent enough unit, but I'm a little lost as to what niche he can fill that isn't already taken care of better by Nino, Julia, or F! Robin (all of whom I have already). But he's a bonus unit in the upcoming tempest trials, so I'd like to do *something* with him. I'm not going to promote him or give him a 5* weapon, I don't have the feathers. Is it weird to keep Watersweep and just slap Speed +3 and a better special on him? Or is there a better way to do this that will actually make him decent beyond this TT, and not just an inferior version of a green mage I already have?

I've seen some builds have him make good use of a Raven tome and Triangle Adept, but that's a niche better filled by F!Robin.

I've basically accepted that my Soren is always going to be inferior to my Nino. I ended up giving him Darting Blow 3 (had some spare 4* Florinas) and Green Tomebreaker to differentiate him from my fury/desperation Nino, but I still wouldn't say he excels in anything.

For yours, speed +3 and the phantom speed seal would mage your Soren a good chip unit. If you're sure he's not gonna get attacked on enemy phase, then Darting Blow would probably work better. Add a different special, and he'd probably do pretty good in the TT.
