Steady Breath

I have a spare B!Ike, that'll probably keep taking up space. But I was curious what less common units might benefit from it?

I have a Nowi with it already so I kinda want to stray away from other dragons, except maybe +atk/-hp Fae but she's still 4* and without LB+ and Aether currently so I would wait till I have more resources ready for her. Also I rarely use armors lately, outside of +spd/-hp Amelia and +def/-atk Zelgius. And unfortunately Ares can't inherit it because of his cavalier status. So I was curious what infantry units might like SB as well? Maybe 5*+5 Fir cause who knows if I'll ever summon a Hector ever? Or like +atk/-res Nephenee, +atk/-res Leif, or Marisa (just cause she's probably one of my favorite TT units)? Or should I just keep saving for now for if I get enough feathers for Fae to get the other resources she needs?

neph could make real good use out of steady breath, but another viable alternative to foddering it off right now would be to wait

a lot of units can make good use out of SB and having a spare SB never hurts in case you pull a unit with good IVs that can inherit it

i've run into some trouble bc im all out of breath skill fodder, so all i can do now is patiently wait for some Breath banner to come around

i think you should wait a bit and see if there are any new units introduced that you fall in love with that can inherit it b4 u (potentially) jump the gun

I vote save it, armour emblem is so good, especially with a berkuts lance + SB

I don't really like armor emblem all that much though, the exception right now being Amelia because I've been lucky enough to get her to +2 merges and with +spd iv, Fury, speed refined axe she hits 44 speed also I gave her Galeforce for fun shenanigans. Or dragon emblem but that is more lack of any built dragon other than Nowi.
I've been more preferring Infantry, Cavs, and Fliers lately. But maybe it's just I've been getting more units I like from those movement types lately like WT!Olwen, Micaiah, Ishtar, Ares, F!Morgan, B!Ninian, Caeda (finally with good ivs, +spd/-def) and SF!Nino. It's actually been making more mixed teams more fun for me too, like trying to use Ares and SF!Nino on more mixed emblem teams.

If you want to be unconventional you could give it to someone like Henry. Charge up an ignis and fire on his turn. But I definitely prefer it on DC tanks, which could include guys like Zelgius or Dorcas

But isn't Henry ranged and thus like Ares (albeit for a different restriction) can't inherit SB due to SB's inheritance restrictions?

My apologies, you're right. I didn't realize there were restrictions beyond movement type.

It seems like Chrom could use Steady Breath pretty well, he has a similar statline to B!Ike, though his stats are just a bit lower in some areas, with Sealed Falchion they become much better, and he is a 3-4* now, so it will be pretty easy to get merges

The problem with Chrom for me is I already have Fir as my main merge project, currently 5*+5, and Ares has become my backup project, currently 5*+2. So the fact that they both share a color with Chrom makes it hard for me to justify building him. Even more so when I've had decent luck summoning Lucina as a Falchion user, been lucky enough to get her to +2 tied for my highest among 5* exclusive units with Amelia.

That's understandable. I'd say Fir is better as a DC user, but we all know the Hector drought is real. I was saying Chrom for ease of merges, especially over Lucina, but I understand not wanting to build him over the others.

Lukas or Oboro could use it rather well as easy to build lance units?

Hector drought hurts way to hard for me, I'd absolutely love Fir to get DC and Wrath (but I've summoned both SF!Nino and Legault, but no Karla). But unfortunately for me I've never summoned a single Hector.

Idk I'm kinda leaning toward saving now and maybe giving it to Fae eventually as Lukas and Oboro wouldn't be bad but I do have a +def Nowi with SB already at least while I guess my green bulk is more lacking. Amelia is probably my bulkiest green with 50/39/26 bulk but with my current spread she hits 44 spd and has Galeforce so I tend to play her more offensively when I use her.
