The stat inflation in AR is a bit ridiculous.

I love this mode, and so do a lot of people. It's easily, easily the best mode in the game now. But I feel like the bonus stats they give for units are kinda too overblown. Like, you can give a stat increase. But making characters like Fjorm have impossible to beat stats like 60+ or 50+ on certain stats is a bit ridiculous. You can't do a thing against them if you're facing them defensively in your Keep. I've only been successful once out of 15 or so defense matches. And that was only because they ran out of turns.
I feel like my only gripes with AR so far is the lack of replayability in a single day and the inflated stats. Other than that, it's a great mode and a My Castle like mode that works really well for the most part. And hey, it's only the first week of it. I feel like they'll check and balance it as time goes on.

I'm a bit suspicious of their decision to start offensive fortresses at level 2. If it weren't for that then with strong play from both sides, only bonus units get bonus stats. (Well, there is that argument that smart players aren't investing in defense for the first week because it doesn't change anything because we can't accumulate enough lift for it to matter yet, but that's not going to be for long; I think people will need to upgrade their defensive fortress pretty soon.)

I'm upgrading my Defense fortress as soon as I can, which probably won't be until next season sadly
