starfish on halloween kagero?
i just rolled a halloween kagero today and i was thinking that maybe inheriting starfish(desperation effect) would be good on her because the desperation effect added onto bold fighter would be pretty good, but then again there could always be better options for a dagger armored unit like kagero. should i do it? any suggestions for an alternative build if its a bad idea?

I think it’s a great idea. It’s definitely an unconventional build that most players won’t expect.
Although it’ll require some decent investment, the build below is what I would go with.
She’ll have 67 attack with both brazens (and +atk iv), effectively 72 if def ploy hits, and if there’s a singer/dancer, she’ll effectively have 74 attack due to the weapon’s Smoke skill.
You can run many builds on Kagero at the time due to her min-maxed stats, so just change the build for different scenarios.

i really like that build you came up with! although i have the units needed to pull it off, would it be worth it in your opinion compared to an enemy phase build focused on close counter and quick riposte/vengeful? mainly i feel bad for using her player phase because i feel like im wasting her defensive statline.

I wouldn't be surprised if she can take multiple counterattacks with that mixed bulk of hers. I'd probably prefer barb shuriken + ignis/glacies to stick it to DC units who like to bulk up on def, especially when a lot of them will be using distant def seal to help their matchups against mages and it happens to make them extra tough against bows and daggers.
So not a bad idea if you ask me, but a matter of preference.
