Staffs and Close Counter

i know healers can be extremely offensive just like the top meta units when built right. so now that we are getting close counter for free, who are some healers that would benefit from it the most?

azama, because he's one of the few healers that can easily tank a couple of hits

He can tank a couple of hits, true, but as he's not going to be doing more than tickling anyone with his attack stat, CC just takes up a slot that would make him tankier.

Not the best idea to give a healer CC. If you want you can gie lissa or azama CC, as they are both kind of tanky.

I saw a build for Genny not too long ago, it was an absolute Beast.

The Vantage, pain Plus, wrathful staff weapon refine, double Savage blow set is absolutely terrifying. If you pair it with another healer that runs Candlelight Plus, you can even attack into units that run Vantage themselves. Add a dancer, and by the time you get to the enemy phase, your attack stat only needs to be high enough to deal 1 point of damage and as long as you can counter attack, you will rake in tons of kills.

There’s a build that I think can work on anyone and 2 healers with another build I wanna mention that could really appreciate CC. The build is a pain CC Vantage double savage set. Any healer can run it and it can do some serious damage. The idea, hit into someone you can survive, spread the pain and rack up the kills in the enemy phase. There’s also an absorb tanking set, Absorb CC breaker/QR and flexible C/Seal which can be incredible. Lachesis and Lissa can run this set very well, as Lachesis has the HP and attack to take a hit and heal with absorb and Lissa has the defensive statspread to do the same.

Generally you will want a tanky healer. A build I saw had CC, W!Absorb, Miracle, QR, and Threaten RES. the main purpose was to allow the unit to absorb damaged health and proc miracle to allow it to keep up it's health and survive encounters, whilst damaging the foe.

You could also go offensive instead and dazzling pain/ gravity, double savage blow, and just deal splash damage.

Just a few options,

The streamer can be a little cringey at times, fair warning, but generally I would say he's very entertaining and it is awesome to watch healers curb stomp like this.

PS combat starts at 1:36

You want a tanky healer, or a speedy one, and they have to have decent attack to get some actual value out of Absorb+, if going that route. (Azama is an option, but I wouldn't recommend him since he will struggle to heal himself at all even with an attack boon.)

I run a +6 Genny (I do have CC on her, yes). A friend of mine has a +10 Lachesis. On a budget I'd probably say Lachesis is your best bet, she has pretty great attack and you can run the QR seal/Vantage and Miracle to keep her alive for longer. Gotta watch out for brave weapons, though. Play around with a simulator and see what you like and on what character. The Absorb/CC/QR combo is amazing for autobattle TT runs.
