Spend money or not

On the trick or defeat banner my 5* pity rate is 4.75 from all of the f2p orbs I spent on it. I currently have 6 orbs, so if I spend $20 I can do 2 summoning rounds. I want to do it, but I'm also scared I won't get anything (any 5* will do). Should I take my chances or just forget about it

Do you have any more F2P orbs you could gain? If so, I'd work on obtaining those and up and towards the end of the banner (there's like, what, 18-19 days?).

If not, I'd kind of go for a mix of those in putting money BUT also harbouring the small amount of orbs that you can over these 2 weeks+ (dailies, Arena, potential Quests).

I was in a similiar situation when the new Katarina banner came out, but ended up getting her today at a 3.75% and just sheer YOLO Red snipes (also F2P). Ran into the misfortune of not even having Reds in 4-5 sessions, but my stubborness just did it. You also have a lot more time.

$20 also isn't massive considering it's a limited banner, but I'd at least try to make the most out of it and gather from every source you can before pulling.

I always suggest the route that doesn't involve spending money on a phone app that stands as a nice past time.....

Plus, the Halloween heroes are cool and unique and all, but not all that powerful. Unless your most favorite hero is one of the ones featured in a Halloween costume and you REALLY want to buff them up as much as possible then I wouldn't bother.

Henry makes for a good magic tank and actually has surprisingly solid offenses. He even comes with Armour March, which was exclusive to Amelia until he decided to come around. With Fury and a Spd Seal, you're looking at around 50+ Atk (Blade Tome is highly recommended) with 40 Spd and even amazing magic soaking potential.

I haven't look at the others a lot, but Jakob trades all that Spd for extra Def bulk while keeping good Atk (tied highest with Cordelia, I think). He can effectively use something like QR > stuff to Ignis and also be a good Reinhadt/Lyndis counter next to Henrique.

Not sure about Nowi, but Sakura has a pretty interesting spread. Her offenses are close to the highest in terms of dagger users, and actually has an extra niché in being yet another magic slayer.

This is a dangerous path, $20 is not that much to guarantee anything, ESPECIALLY if you are trying to pull a colorless.

I was trying on Polivia, ended up spending $80......and I wasn't spending much before.

$20 isn't that much, especially when in regards to these limited edition (at least for one of them). 20 is like, what, 30+ orbs? That adds up with a bit of Quests, Arena and the like. With the new BHB and 2 Arena weeks + Log In Bonuses we're looking at 21-23 orbs I think.

That's a bit over 50, which is two full sessions.
