I recently started working on a Caeda and was finally able to upgrade her wingsword to have the flashing blade effect. Now my Caeda is +res -hp, so I use iceberg with her, but now I'm trying to decide whether or not glacies would be better.
If I'm correct, iceberg would be 3->1->activated and glacies would be 4->2->activated, making glacies the more appealing choice. Does anyone know if this line of thinking is right or not?
Assuming you always have the speed over the opponent, she needs to take a hit and double the opponent to activate the 4-turn Glacies. The 3-turn Iceburg only requires you to double and not take a counterattack to fire it off in that engagement. You just need to decide if you're expecting her to take a hit or not. If you're using Desperation builds, it is best to stick with Iceberg. Enemy phase Caeda works better with Glacies.
if i double in an engagement, wouldn't iceberg still not be able to activate without taking a counter hit? If im in desperation range, by the time she'd used her two attacks, she'd be able to use iceberg next attack, but wouldn't that not happen until the next engagement due to her already using up her double, and she still takes a counterhit that doesn't charge the special?
