Spd/Def Bond 6

So now that Ethlyn's available with spd/def bond 3 as a skill, has anybody else used her as fodder for Sharena? I went ahead and refined the Askran Princess' weapon at the same time that I inherited the skill to her, and HOO BOY, she has become remarkably tanky. Beautiful, really. Can't recommend it enough.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people have done that already.

I used the same set-up for Sharena on the Chrom and Lissa BHB to do the quests, and she just wrecked house. It's really powerful with Close Def, as she'll tank just about anything physical.

Right? I decided to try her out on that BHB, and it was ridiculous. Can't wait until I can try out the same thing with Alfonse and Brazen Atk/Def.

Reliability in Fury is really nice. Brazen Atk/Def is pretty great itself.

As someone who fed Ares to Alfonse in a heartbeat, I can say that it is incredibly great. I run Bonfire+Vantage on him and it's truly beautiful. My plan was for vantage 3 to let deflect melee work during enemy phase, but instead he just 1-shots people before they can even attack.

I agree. She's pretty fantastic with them bonuses, and as an Askr, too!

And people are still saying they're no good outside arena... eyeroll

I gave her Atk/Spd bond for more diverse stat growth
