Lots of builds. With that particular boon, you can choose to ignore it, or to try utilizing it. Close Counter is ok when given Fortify buffs and the Distant Defense Seal. Brazen Def/Res is also a good choice for being tanky. At 32 health he'd be rocking 52 defense and 38 resistance (Fortify applied.)

But, honestly, that seems too gimmicky for my taste. I feel any of his other builds work better, even the speed oriented ones, as he can still reach up to 42 speed with Hone and Brazen Speed. I think I might aim for being a physical wall, though. Brazen Atk/Def works best, though anything that boost those stats in A will work.

Res boon is arguably fantastic. If your goal is to play to his strengths, speedy dragons aren't that common, and they deal damage to res. It could be great in a pinch.
