-Spd +Res Eirika (SM)

I'm not sure what to do with her honestly, with both her tome and SS, she gets to 52 Atk 39 Spd initiating, but nowadays thats really not that impressive, alternatively I have an extra Tharja i could take a Blade tome from, but if i do that, is desperation even worth having anymore, and wouldnt death blow be better than SS, or is there another option I'm missing here to make use of this questionable IV spread

She does have Swift Sparrow for fodder, but if you wanna give her a blade tome to give her a niche in a cavalry team, then I suppose that could also work

Desperation is common, don't fodder her for it

Ya, I really like her as a character, so I was hoping to find a use for her, but these IVs are so bad, so she's probably just best as fodder

Why not try to run her as a Ploy user with Fury? That would mean 31 resistance with Gleipnir. She won't activate it on high res mages, but she could use a Def Ploy/Atk Ploy combo and bring ranged support to her team, and maybe Red Tomebreaker so she becomes a mage check. This is just a way to take advantage of that +Res. You could also use her as an enemy phase unit, tank mages and use Quick Riposte to counterattack twice, instead of using Swift Sparrow+Desperation.

You can also run Fury+Desperation with Brash Assault seal. You can take a hit, or two from most mages(as long as they're not blue), then you start doubling as long as they can counterattack and just try to destroy everyone else. Fury is there mainly for the bulkiness, but you can go with Death Blow as well.

If you want to use her on a cavalry team, just use Hone Cavalry and her speed will be fine. You can consider a Blade tome as well here.

Even with -SPD, running her with a blade in horse emblem makes her strong as can be. I am working on my blade Eirika right now, and even with Gleipnir she still hits hard. With a -SPD doubles are less likely but there’s a 99% chance that with a bladetome she wouldn’t need the double to kill the vast majority of units. My Leo with a bladetome is the same way, and he’s slower than molasses.
