Just managed to pull my first Zelgius this morning, and I’m not sure how I should build him. I don’t have access to Bold Fighter atm, and I’m a bit hesitant to fodder off one of my M!Grimas for Vengeful Fighter in case there’s another unit that may want it in the future.
Does anyone have build ideas they’d like to share? Thanks in advance!
If you want a budget option just use his base kit, perhaps replace that PP with something else that your team wants since he's -HP. Mine Zelgius has the exact same IV and Im currently running Fierce Stance, Vantage, Fortify Armor on him. If you have more resources, Warding/Steady breath + Bold Fighter works wonder on him
I suggest giving him Vantage as his Black Luna triggers often and Vengeful Fighter is really hard to come by, but my favorite set to run on Zelgius above all else is a Breath+QP seal set; which allows him to almost always proc Black Luna in every fight he's in, as his +Spd along with armour buffs allows him to have a decent shot at counterattacking twice without the need for Quick Riposte or Vengeful Fighter.
