Could someone explain this rating sort function?

This Erika is only a +1. Why is she and other units like Sharena so high compared to my other uber armor units?

Because your Eirika has fury which added 12 bst to her base rating, and most likely the same with your Sharena.

Oh right that makes sense. I thought it would be a rating to see how many points you would get in arena.

What Willpower said. However, don't misunderstand, skills which increase stats don't give you more arena score than other skills, it depends on the SP cost of the skill.
