Sorry! ANOTHER question! (about breaker skills)

If I put say- Green Tomebreaker on a Sword unit will it still prevent an enemy's follow up attack even if it can't counterattack, and am I guaranteed a follow up attack even if the enemy can't counter attack? Also, would Swordbreaker on a blue or red dragon unit help against Falchion units? What if I put Triangle adept and Swordbreaker on Nowi, Ninian, etc.? And if I put Cancel Affinity on Myrrh, will it lessen a blow from a Falchion wielder since it would get rid of the weapon triangle advantage and just leave the Dragon weakness?

I think Cancel Affinity would only cancel out the triangle advantage if you're going up against a Triangle Adept user.

Yes to all your questions except Myrrh.

I'd go for Quick Riposte on Nowi if you give her TA3. Swordbreaker is overkill and she'll OHKO many popular swords.

No need to apologize - questions like these are what this section is for. It's the neverending stream of IV questions that have been asked 50 times already with the complaining about IVs which are actually fine that tend to annoy the frequent responders.

TA3+swordbreaker was a combination that some dragon teams used to deal with Falchion. It seems to me that this strategy was especially common around the time that the Falchion refines first released, maybe because blue dragons needed a way to initiate on Alm and win consistently. It was too dangerous to let Alm initiate with his double-strike and try to double using QR. People even suggested that Alm should use CA precisely to counter this setup. (If you look on Roy's character page, his build dedicated to dragon-busting uses CA as a safeguard against this setup, and it's the only way to guarantee that he will wreck each and every dragon without fail.) Nowadays I rarely see TA3 Nowi. Once or twice, and they constitute less than 5% of the Nowis I run into.

Myrrh cannot nullify Falchion's effectiveness against her using CA. This skill counters TA and TA only (including TA weapons), at least right now. Fliers have Iote's shield; cavaliers have Grani's shield; armours have Svalinn's shield, but dragons are eternally vulnerable to the weapons Naga specifically designed to end them when the necessity arose. If the Falchion wielder uses TA for some reason, then yes Myrrh will neutralize the matchup, but Falchion effectiveness will still apply and she's still in a lot of trouble.
