Songs to Level Grind to?

I admit this sounds a bit weird but I'm curious if you guys, when playing any FE game (not just FEH) have a playlist or select songs you play while grinding? I've found it helps me focus more when I don't listen to the game itself when I play, because then I get distracted trying to make out lines if I can't read what the characters are saying.

I tend to gravitate towards more upbeat stuff, like NSP, or Starbomb. Do you guys have music you like to listen to when you're grinding, or do you just listen to the game?

I listen to Korean, Japanese, Thai, French (like 1, lol), and a few American songs.

Although I sometimes listen to the game to listen to the critical quotes (Awakening, I don't care about the quotes in Fates, to be honest).

I do that too, but recently I've come to realize my hearing's gotten bad enough I have trouble hearing the crit quotes correctly on my 3DS speakers...

You'll need to hook me up with some Japanese songs my dude - I do need to expand my library past, well, Ninja Sex Party.

I know exactly what you mean. For some reason it's gotten a bit more difficult to actually hear the critical quotes on my 3DS. I thought that maybe the music was too loud, so I turned it down, but it's still not good enough. It could be that maybe my 3DS is getting old?

I don't listen to many Japanese songs. Uverworld (probably my favorite?), One OK Rock, and My First Story are the main ones, and there are a few songs that I've listened to from others that I can't recall as far as who made them (I would hear it on YouTube while doing other things, but never really checked the video itself).

I'm not sure if it's because my hearing is going bad from the noise at work, the 3DS having worse speakers from age, or a mixture of both. Probably both.

Oh! I'll look into those - again, my library is mostly Ninja Sex Party and Steam Powered Giraffe, so I'm always taking recommendations.

I don't know why but the title of this topic seems off. I can't quite put my finger on it. XD

I never heard of Ninja Sex Party or Starbomb, just looked them up they're pretty good, kinda like the Mega 64 humor. I havent played much of the old games entirely, only tried them on friends' consoles/handhelds but I actually like the music from FEH its really well done. But sometimes I'll listen to what I usually listen to normally while playing the game:

Bauhaus, the Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, New Order, OMD, Soft Cell, the Smiths, the Misfits, Operation Ivy, Black Flag, Pixies, Guitar Wolf, the Stooges, the Animals, the Sonics, the Ronettes, Smokey Robinson, Wu-Tang Clan, Jedi Mind Tricks

NSP is hilarious to me due to their immature humor but at the same time I adore Danny's voice.

Hm, Guitar Wolf and Misfits sound interesting, I'll take a look!

Steam Powered Giraffe is a good one if you like songs that tell stories or songs by steampunk robots.

70s-early 90s rock. That's what I always listen to but it's good to just cruise through my usual tactics using my favorite units to. Extra points whenever it choose 2 or more Guardians of the Galaxy songs back-to-back.

I listen to MASA Works Design, but I have other songs that are my favorite like Hello Dystopia by Mafumafu, Apple Dot Com and Ghosts Play to the Audience by PinocchioP, RIP Gossip Sea by [email protected] y'know all those edgier vocaloid songs.

I listen to a whole range of music, from Panic! At the Disco to the Attack on Titan OST when I game because they get me in the right headspace to game. I highly recommend the Xenoblade soundtrack which always gets me ready to kick some enemy ass when lvl grinding. Even if you haven't played the game it's fine. Pretty much anythingthat gets me in the mood is a-ok.
NSP's cover of Africa is amaaaaazing...Danny's voice is perfect for such an epic song.

I usually have old streams and Let's Plays playing in the background. If I listen to just music, though, it's usually video game osts and a bunch of pop music.
