Something Ya'll Should Realize

Sorcerer's Blade is built upon the base code for a skill in the binary. Said skill would activate adaptive damage when near any ally, and as such, they added this to balance it out, thusly this amy lead to some interesting things.

There could be multiple variations where instead of it being "stand beside mage" to "stand besidee physical unit, or dragon, or etc"

Even to "be within 2 spaces of allies" which is a potential skill for Roy (who has a fire Sword), Robin (who has Levin Sword), and even Alm (who really wants that on his bow when he comes out)

In other words, this first incarnation is sadly not as powerful as it could be, but overall this opens up the probability for incredible Adaptive/DC weapons for some of the Legendary Heroes that have DC weapons. Roy can potentially be a dragon slaying god with adaptive damage DC as a Legendary, Robin can be a support unit with a really good perkset and a nice adaptive sword, etc. This opens up the possibilities far more than simply the skill being mediocre. This could be IS saying "yo, we're going to be adding adaptive damage as a skill to some units' weapons" and pointing at the LHB's.

But that's my view. Thoughts?

Honestly, it kinda sucks that this skill won’t really be that anti armour or even dragon (to some degree) as both have decent mixed defenders across the board. Though yea it could be pretty nice if they powercreep this skill, as it stands we do need something like this (not or is it too OP) We need an A skill (or any skill) that is effective against armour units (the falchions but effective against armour maybe?)

I honestly believe that this could be a huge thing if it's given to the right Lords and Ladies. Just imagine Roy nuking people with the Binding Blade and being able to do adaptive?

Or Robin being as supportive with his multi rally in Awakening whilst being able to do some actual damage (not like his blue form).

This opens up the possibility for Roy to be actually flat broken when he's an LHB, which I'm sure the FE6 fanbase is happy about, for sure.

Dragons often have mixed bulk, so I don't think Roy gains quite as much from this as you seem to think

Meanwhile, Felicia sighs.

Well, I meant to say that Roy had a DC Binding Blade in his game. And since LHB's tend to be pretty faithful tot he adaptations (if they keep their OG weapons) then I expect Binding Blade to have some stat boost and a adaptive damage bond (same for Robin but I think his will be much harder to proc) and a potential DC in his A Slot (or you can just inherit it)

The adaptive isn't for dragons alone though, it can work at Roy's advantage if he would be fighting units with higher def and lower res (alot of units in this game) and he'd be able to do maximum damage.

In all honesty i don't see these adaptive damage changing things that much. Will it help in some matchups sure. Considering how important having mixed bulk was becoming to begin with we may not really see that great of a change in things. Plus in order to run these skills these units have to give up on running things like DC and other stat increasing A slot skills so it won't necessarily make these units all that much better.
