Just saying, someone's going around on a mass downvote spree it seems

Not saying we should burn em at the stake, but...

(In all honesty it seems a waste of time, and I maybe shouldn't say anything, but hell I do it anyways!)

I guess it should be brought up at one point or another. I've always avoided drawing attention to it because that's all this type really wants, any attention they can get, even negative attention. If we all collectively ignore it, they give up eventually.

I'm also curious.

A while ago I commented on a question which was associated with Sophia and a user of Gamepress commented that Sophia was bad, of course they were joking. So I posted 'Sophia is a 'Bad' unit,' there was a few downvotes. I was really confused, as Emboar Bof does something similar to what I did with my Sophia. I turned a 'bad' unit into something good.

Soon, I commented that it was a reference and a joke.

Well at this point I'm wondering if we're dealing with someone who's multi-accounting just to spam downvotes, either because they're desperate or raging or something along those lines.

Or maybe it's just people making fun of this whole concept of complaining about downvotes. Seriously...who would bother to use multiple accounts or to even use bots on a small forum like this? Be realistic...people are most likely just having some sarcastic enjoyment out of this. There is no need to draw the most dramatic conclusions.

I find your explanation quite convincing, and I'd join in, except I find that the joke is somehow a little perverse. Not my taste in humour, if you get what I mean.
