Soleil is here!

So, I've pulled...3 separate +atk Soleil, with banes of HP, Def, and Res respectively, as well as a 5 star one of her I already had who is +res/-Def.

Anyway, I'm trying to make a good set for her to make a merge project, without using the Heavy Blade seal. I have a spare Ike.to give her Heavy Blade as an A-skill. I was thinking Wo Dao refined for Speed, Aether, SwordBreaker, and speed + Seal or Atk Smoke seal. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Heavy Blade is a good option. So is Fury. You can run Atk Smoke in the C-Slot, and Spd+3 in the S-Slot. Vantage or Swordbreaker can be used for the B-Slot. And your right, Soleil is here.

Soleil can use Brave Sword with her huge Atk stat, as well as Slaying Edge for faster special procs

Well, I don't know which you plan on keeping, so I'm gonna give thoughts for if you'd keep the +Atk/-Res Soleil.

I, personally, don't recommend the Heavy Blade A slot. While it's definitely a usable skill, I think other skills that boosts her stats are better suited, especially since her speed isn't really "that" high (without buffs) and you can never go wrong with more damage/survivability.

Fury, while it's apparently a "budget" skill, is a good fit for her. It increases her attack, speed, and even her defense, allowing her to take less damage from melee units that she will inevitably run in to, not to mention she can easily be healed thanks to Aether.

Swordbreaker is a good skill to allow her to handle faster sword units *cough Ayra cough*. There's also Desperation, but that doesn't really synergize too well with Aether.

A Speed +3 seal (or any of the other variations of it) is also nice for her since it allows her to double, but Atk Smoke can also work since it helps her support her allies by lowering the enemy's attack, thus allowing your units to tank better (you could always fodder off a 4* Kaze for it).

There are, of course, other ways to build her so in case there are differing viewpoints, there's nothing wrong with picking one and sticking to it. Could even make her more of a duelist. :o

Well my Soleil is +Spd/-Res but what I run on her is ...

Firesweep Sword
Glimmer
Life and Death
Drag Back
Threaten Speed
Initiate Speed Seal

So basically more of an initiator than a duellist but she works pretty well that way as long as you have the rest of your team ready to drag her back out of harms way after she's dragged someone into certain splat.
