So, Tailtiu..

With this banner I have pulled so many damn Tailtiu's that its not funny anymore. However, with that realization something came to mind.

My Tailtius aren't the fastest, not even close since most of them are -spd, however. I have two questions.

Should I merge all the tailtius into a 4 star and make her a high tier arena unit?

And, if I were to merge a terrible IV, 5 star Tailtiu into a 4 star, will she get a +1 or will she just get sp?

Overall, this is me just wondering what I should do with the butthurt that Tailtiu has caused me for the past few days.

5* unit merged into 4* will yield a +1. Additionally, if you purchased Blarblade+ with the 5* and merge, the 4* will have it so as well as any 5* locked skills, something to consider.

Tailtiu is a solid blade time user, so I would consider a super-merged version. Just pick one without -SPD, and one with +ATK. Come to think of it, how many did you pull and what IVs anyway?

The IV's I've gotte fall into two categories, +def-res and +spd-atk. Those are the only two I've ever gotten (and my five star which is +atk-spd). Overall, I do think that the neutral offense stat one might do better than the other ones.

And about 5 Tailtiu's (Not counting my 5 star from way back when)

Then if you decide to merge, go with +SPD, -ATK if no better bane is available as with buffs w/Bladetome, damage won't be hindered too much. Go with Fury or Life and Death for A-Slot, and keep the Dual Rally and Drive Skills for Arena score.

That said, you could always fodder some off.

Make a drive spd water squad and see what +12 spd can do for the team.

Tailtiu is solid fodder for Drive Spd, a high arena weight C skill. Your 5* could probably benefit another blue tome user you have. If the IVs aren’t good, don’t waste all of that delicious fodder.
