So much negativity... it's sickening

Seriously, I know it's the internet and all, but I feel I'm the only one happy after the stream. Then I come here and it's just complaint after complaint after complaint. I guess I just have sh*t standards...

haha, I, for one am just disappointed. I had high hopes for 1st year anniversary considering how successful the game has been.

I was expecting more on the content-side of things but it was hopes only.

It was meh to be honest, they could talk about the new weapons, I still waiting.

LOL, I completely forgot about those new weapon upgrades since they didn't include it in the video.

All we can do is wait now.

A lot of people are happy, but underwhelmed at the same time. Was hoping for something along the lines of 5* units being demoted, like Mist. Why tf is Mist a 5* unit?

Was hoping for feather upgrades for units to be reduced just a little bit, but that's just me.

I'm not really too thrilled about the tap game, but we'll see. It's something different, but eh.

Nah, I think this just wasn't what most people were expecting; I certainly wasn't. A lot of the stuff is weird, but I was pretty stoked about it. Love training maps since the warriors maps are gone again. Free orbs and a 5*? Totally there.
Sad about no laguz, but eh. I'm pretty happy. :D

I loved it! It was far more than I even expected

100 orbs is a good gift. New mode? I’m ok with it. The banners look promising, and I don’t expect IS to hand the world to players on a silver platter. Naysayers can take it for what it is.

I'm with you man, I was perfectly fine with the stream. The legendary banner is a little lackluster this time around, but aside from that, everything else sounds pretty legit. 50 free orbs, (technically 100 as long as you do those special maps), GHB rotations, special training maps that, if I heard correctly, will always be in rotation(?), hell, even that little tapping mini-game looks interesting and fun if you just wanna pass the time. There were lots of interesting things given to us in this stream; and I know some things just don't interest some people as it does others, but there's no need for so much negativity.

A lot of people like myself were just expecting more substance. It was too shallow for my taste.

Well, when you say things the way you say them, it’s no surprise that you catch a lot of negative reaction. I just try to help people rather than voice my opinion because not everyone will like my opinion.

Then what is the point of even possessing a voice or a mind? You can't go through life worrying about people's feelings all the time.

Why promote hate when you can prevent it? Nowadays if you don’t be considerate of others, it ostracizes yourself. I’d rather be considerate than make an ass out of myself like I’ve seen a lot of people do on here.

It was totally irrelevant from a game-mechanics and metagame standpoint.
I mean, we got some free orbs, a few maps to get more orbs, revival of old GBH, a tap game that nobody cares about, and a new unit.
And thats it.

Im not even commenting on how good or bad the banners may be, cause thats more of a personal taste.
But there were no changes to mechanics, no new map types, no new unit types, no new seals, and the only new game mode isnt fire emblem at all.

Consider that there were at least 3 great announcements that hyped everybody, the introduction of skill inheritance, the sacred seals, and the weapon and seal refinement.
Compared to that, this was completely irrelevant.

There is a reason the FE fandom is considered the worst Nintendo fandom. No one is ever satisfied lol

Yeah, and most people get mad when you don’t agree with what they think. That’s why I can only take so much of this sometimes, and then go dark for a while. No need to let others ruin my positive mental attitude.

I think it is a positive and perplexing fandom. If people have a problem and want to debate the problem civilly then it opens up doors to interesting discussions. That's just me.

That’s the issue. Civil is not a word I’d use to describe some people on here. Some people are great, and some are not. You can agree to disagree, but when people try to force their beliefs onto others, then that’s where things get ugly.

Sensitivity is man's downfall. You just need to let people say what they think if it doesn't physically hurt someone then why bother. Humanity is resilient, people get over things.

Like: up to 100 orbs, GHB, training maps
Dislike: Tapping. Mostly because I'll probably miss out on the reward(s).
Neutral: Legendary Ike (Brave Ike art is still the best Ike art)
