So I just saw the new Fates Banner...

And uh... Wow. Jeez I don't even want to know what went on here last night. I'm assuming it was just as bad as the L!Lucina reveal. My god, that like to dislike ratio.
I can understand why people are pissed. I'm a Fates baby so I don't mind it as much but I still think this is overdoing it. I just... I don't know how to comment on this.
Boy, the community must have been torn apart last night...

Oh man it was glorious.

I don't think it was the worst saltshow, but it was damn natrium here.

Personally, not that bothered. Camilla alts are just a biweekly thing now, and the Corrins didn't have alts for a long while anyway.
Plus I like the theme of the banner. The whole creepy dreamlike 'harmony'. And everyone having similair outfits.
It's not as bad as Lucina/Lyn

Plus we'll still get the best batch of refines.

I certainly am ok with the banner. The Corrins look great and I'm definitely pulling for Mikoto. But man, they really overdid it this time.
But it certainly is a more interesting take on the Fallen Heroes (at least I think that's what this banner is)

I wouldn't call it a more interesting take on fallen heroes.
The hereos from that banner are individually more unique than the characters from this one.

But what it does have is a unifying theme, more than the fallen heroes.

People said I was crazy when I told them the devs only do things they want without regard to the fans, but look at the game now and say I was wrong.

Having multiple reasons to skip a banner and save orbs right now is quite good for many of us, so not complaining on that regard.

Also, one would argue that they release banners like this precisely because of the fans. It has Fates fanservice all over it.

Players being tired of Awakening/Fates banners and IS apparently not noticing might be a different matter.

I think Camilla herself summed up most people's opinions on the Banner.

Null Follow-Up (As long as it's not stupidly restricted, to say Armors and Infantry) and a regular Pool Candlelight are great additions, but otherwise overall it seems like a bad dream...

I'm over Camilla hate at this point. People should just learn to expect it and deal with it. Plus, she's got good art. That's a big plus. Not like here first two alts. Her artist at the time was hell bent on her boobs. Her new artist is waaay better and suits her designs more.

I don't have hate for her, just pointing out that IS clearly expected a bit of outrage over her, with that introductory sentence.

I don't really have a strong attachment to any characters (other than maybe Catria - still salty over how badly Sumia powercrept her), so for me new characters are always preferred over a 3rd+ alt.

I was salty AF.
Posted some salty comments here and there and after I came down a little I just posted Alm memes all over the place.
TBH I don't even care about the banner anymore.
I just want my Alm already.
I'm tired of waitinggggggg.

Well at least Male corrin as a dragon form now so that's new and these units are permanently in the summon pool so we have some good fodder with M!corrins b skill and a atk/spd+ rally i think

Yeah that B skill is going to be meta breaking. I hope people are overblowing it and don't use it much but it does seem powerful. If it is as good as people say, it's going to be a bitch to deal with in arena.

Well, if you think about it, its a banner with 3 alters, one of which is the already over saturated camilla (did we REALLY need another one?) and a side character that dies like, what, 2 minutes after she is introduced?
Fates isnt that popular a game in itself, so its no wonder this banner triggered a shitstorm.
