So how hard should I try for Hector?

So I saved up 71 F2P orbs. I currently have no Hectors or LA Hectors, since I started for the first time in January so I haven't been playing all that long (although I already have some nice tech like an optimal Nowi). I'm saving the orbs for a bit until I see what heroes are in at least two of the other three February banners are.

But how hard should I try to get LA Hector, if the other ones aren't as good? Should I exclusively draw Green stones? He does have that nice Distance Counter, which I currently don't have at all.

If you're saving your orbs until the other banners are revealed, then don't try to get him until then. While LA!Hector is good, the original Hector is still good as well. LA!Hector is better in stats, but the original still has Quick Riposte 2 in the form of Armads, meaning that he's still the only unit that can pull off Quick Riposte 2 + Wary Fighter + Quick Riposte 3.

All in all, just wait and gauge just how badly you'd want the new units in the upcoming banners. Any you like? Any you want for skills? Once those questions are answered, then you can make your choice. LA!Hector is a good addition to a team, but he's definitely not a must have.

I personally would wait until the Legendary Heroes Banner lineup gets released before making your decision. If nothing interests you there, then pull for Hector.
