So...

New guy here. I've had this pity breaker Peri for a while now and decided to max merge it. She's turning out a lot better than I thought with +spd/-hp. I'm thinking of giving her distant counter with a good B option, but that would take away a chuck of her bulk. What do you guys think? Should I stick to highly mobile demon tank Peri or play it safe with one of the recommended builds? (Btw she's definitely getting aether.)

I think she's fine like this. DC would open her up to some new matchups, but it would also switch her more towards enemy phase, because she would lose some of the offensive stats.

I keep having a stereotype in my head, that cavaliers should just stick to pure offense or mixed phase, because it allows them to abuse their movement speed.

I use a pretty unique build with mine.

Firesweep Lance+
Galeforce
Heavy Blade 3
Guard 3
Speed Smoke 3
Quicken Pulse Seal

I run her with B!Lyn with Hone Cavalry. As long as it isn't a tanky green unit, she typically kills.
