I pulled a Lucina few hours ago. I was aiming for Leif but I got her instead..Then I saw her IVs which is -HP +Res then I come up with this build:

Refined Flachion
Reposition
Aether
Warding Breath
QR 3
C slot is flexible
SS: Close Defense 3

She can reach 35 defense with Close Defense SS and Refined Falchion buff. 36 Res with Refined Falchion buff, Warding Breath, and Close Defense SS. Is this worth for Lucina? Or not. This set is pretty similar to Roy’s new skillset with Refined Binding Blade.

so warding breath is good but dragons already lose to her Falchion. so the RES boost from CC isn't that good. still the 30 RES she has in general should save her from death against red/green tomes. your DEF is basically a mini tank for and infantry unit, i see this build making her look like a little Zelgi imo. I really like what you did with QR3 + WB. it accelerates Aether and allows her to double without interruption. this is a great build for the IVs you have.

I don’t want to waste her after all. And I will do this build when I get few resources. Thank you for reviewing my build for Lucina lmao

i got lucky with my Lucy pull being +SPD and -HP. Never waste a best girl

Well my favourite female lord is clearly Celica. But yes agree I with you! I can’t wait to build her up

Lucina doesn’t have the best defensive stats, even with a boon. A build like this is better put on a unit with already good defense and res. Lucina (with refined Falcion) is good on the offense, unless you have a speed bane. Your res boon will help her live a little longer too, which is nice. You could run life and death and desperation, which could be good since with an hp bane it’ll be easier for her to get into the threshold for her to activate it.

On a side note to your build, if you have a spare Hector lying around (unlikely for most of us), then with her refine Lucina uses Distant Counter pretty well tbh
