Skill Stacking Question
So, I've been seeing people say that things like Vengeful Fighter or Bold Fighter doesn't stack with things like Heavy Blade or Flashing Blade (which makes sense) but also things like Steady & Warding Breath (which does not make sense).
So the skill text on Vengeful Fighter reads;
"If unit's HP ≥ 50% and foe initiates combat, unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. Grants special cooldown charge 1+ per attack. (Does not stack.)"
A.K.A.; it gives an extra cooldown charge when you hit back, as far as I can tell, where Steady Breath gives you an extra cooldown charge when someone else hits you.
So, like, does anyone know? I don't have anyone with Vengeful Fighter, and I'm not going to sack my Steady Breath fodder to my W.Lissa, since I don't get as much use out of her, so I can't test it out. Shouldn't putting both on a unit give +1 extra cooldown charge for every hit that both sides give during combat? And also, if this is doable, is it worth it? Would I get an Aether every enemy phase battle (for example) or is it redundant?
Answers
Vengeful fighter grands +1 charge per attack (be it from enemy or to enemy, given foe initiates the attack), so it does not stack with Steady Breath. However, you can test Heavy Blade(seal) with Vengeful Fighter to see if you gain charge +2 when retaliating during enemy phase.

I don't know what happens if using both, but the thing is, the Breath skills give you + 1 charge during the entire enemy phase, not only when they hit you, also when you hit back, so I don't think it's worth it since half of its use would go to waste even if it'd actually give you +1 charge when hit.
