Skill set switching during combat

You know how in FE games you can switch your weapon and, in some cases, skills? Well I just thought of something that could be a nice innovation to Heroes.
What if, during certain maps or battles, you could switch your weapon and skill set to a different one? They already have weapon sets for faster equiping, so what if you could do it on the field? It'd be much more handy to have say... An armor effective set in one and being able to switch to a more damaged base set for another. You could do it at any given time as long as your unit hasn't already entered combat or ended their move. Itd be great to use more than one set at a time and it could help out a lot on certain maps.
What do you guys think? Could or could it not work?

I just want to be able to change a unit's build during intermissions like during Arena Assault or Squad Assault. There really is no reason why you can't change it aside from it just not being implemented yet.

And what "certain maps" do you have in mind? In the context of current content, I wouldn't really like this option, because it would make me use certain characters even less and it would make maps considerably less challenging, because you could just solo a map with a single unit even easier than now.

Even if it was counted as your action for that turn it would be a really interesting idea. You're player phase unit could run normally but then a SB/QR unit appears and you could switch to a set with Steady Stance so you can bait them better. From IS's perspective it means people need more fodder for multiple set which means more money for them.
